The Film Role Digital Project has your students exploring the magical world of filmmaking. The perfect opportunity to combine theoretical research with a practical media task! This project has students investigate an interesting role in the film industry and research a practitioner who’s been successful in their field.
Students love learning about the people and processes behind their favorite movie!
Who designed the costumes for The Greatest Showman… the sets from The Lord of The Rings? Who coordinated the stunts for Iron Man or the visual effects for Titanic?
Students will:
- gain an in-depth understanding of a film role and its place in the production process
- practise their own practical skills with software
- produce an automated digital presentation to showcase their knowledge
This may be via PowerPoint transitions and animations, or via Prezi, or Adobe Spark… you can adapt this task to suit your own focus and available technology!
